  • We ensure that guests and members are properly and respectfully signposted during Church services and events.

  • We ensure that there is no loitering during Church services and programmes.

  • We receive and welcome everybody into Church services and events.

  • We ensure orderliness during Church services and events.

  • This department shall be responsible for all educational and training needs of the members

  • We ensure that all young believers go through believers class

  • We hold regular believers class sessions as the need may arise for all young believers

  • The team will organise and hold at least two streams of workers in training in a year for all new workers in the Church

  • We endeavour to encourage members to attend School of Disciples

  • We encourage all members to attend Bible college

  • The ministry will ensure the adequacy and regular training of all members and will ensure that all members attend all RCCG trainings and events that will enhance the To identify any spiritual teaching need in the Church and bring same to the attention of the Pastor

  • We ensure that the department is properly equipped with the right materials and resource

  • The Building and Grounds Teams are responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the church building and its property. The teams sponsor periodic workdays and encourage participation by anyone, no matter what their experience is. The Building and Grounds Teams also complete special projects for the church

  • The Cleaning Teams help maintain the cleanliness of the church.  No experience is necessary.

  • The Decorating Team helps ensure that the church building and sanctuary are appealing and joyful throughout the year. Members with decorating and interior design talent meet together occasionally

+ protocol/hospitality ministry

The Samaritans

  • Collaborate with the Apostles and the church administrator on the appropriate gifts for newcomers

  • Responsible for organising all logistics in getting guests from the airport, making hotel and flight reservations for guests and arrange for the meals

  • In charge of organising godly social events for the Church to foster love amongst members

  • Collaborate with all HODs to ensure the wellbeing of all members.

  • Oversee the provision of the necessary items for the administration of the Holy Communion

 

+ evangelism/follow-up ministry

The Apostles

 

  • This department shall be responsible for Evangelism/follow up/counselling of all members

  • We shall be responsible visiting and follow up of newcomers.

  • We shall identify creative ways of reaching the people with the gospel

  • We shall organise events that they deem appropriate to propagate the gospel subject to spiritual and date clearance from the Council of ministers, such clearance not unreasonably withheld.

  • We shall work along with the different departments in the Church to ensure that young believers are properly grounded in the Lord.

  • Provide counsels on academics, marriage, spiritual matters, nutrition, career, and finance, legal.

  • We organise and lead prayers for the members, families, church, the city, the province and the world.

  • We will liaise with the Pastor to organise prayer events for the Church

  • We organise prayer treat for all ministers, HODs and Workers

  • We lead the Church in all worship sessions and as may be directed by the Pastorate

  • We organise music concerts, worship events such as choreography

  • We ensure that the Church is up to date in the area of relevant instruments

  • We teach the general Church new worship songs

  • We maintain all instruments in the department​
